The Legend of Maiden's Castle:
One of the kings who lives in Corycus, cries to God day and night in order to have a daughter. His wish becomes true at the end, and as the girl grows up, she wins love of everybody with her beauty and helpfulness. A fortune teller comes to the city one of these days. He sends for her to the palace, he wants to learn his daughter's future. When fortune teller looks into the hands of the princess, she is startled, but she says nothing. When the king forces, she leaves there by saying to the king that a snake will bite his daughter, nothing will be able to break this fate, even he will not be able to prevent.
King does not say anything to the girl, but he loses in thought. He makes a castle by deciding to make a castle of white stones on a small islet near the shore at last, and closes his daughter here. Because daughter does not know what is going on, she is grieving; she is fading away day by day. A snake which goes out from the basket of grapes that is sent from the palace to the castle one day, bites the girl, and kills her.
